In phase 1, KwickEat sets no cookies and runs no analytics of any kind. We don’t track you across visits, don’t build a browsing profile, and don’t run any analytics or advertising script on this site.
The one thing we load from someone else
Pages here load a web font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), so Google sees the IP address and browser of anyone who loads a KwickEat page. That is the only third party this site talks to: nothing else about your visit is sent anywhere.
No ads
KwickEat does not run AdSense or any other ad network.
What our web server keeps
Like any web server, ours keeps ordinary technical logs — things like the page requested, the time and the requesting IP address — for security and to keep the site running. Those logs are operational, not a profile of you, and we don’t sell or share them.
Search
If you search KwickEat, your search is used to return results for that one request. We don’t store a history of searches tied to you.
Where the restaurant data comes from
Menus, item names, descriptions and prices are read from each restaurant’s own KwickPOS online-ordering site. Star ratings are Google’s own ratings for that restaurant’s Google Business Profile. Clicking “Order direct” takes you off KwickEat to that restaurant’s own ordering site, which has its own, separate privacy practices — worth a look before you order.
This will change as the site grows
Phase 1 of KwickEat is a directory with no accounts, no cart and no checkout on this site. If a later phase adds any of those, this page will be updated first, and it will say plainly what changed.
